Multiplexing of Laguerre-Gaussian beams

Nine holograms used to generate so-called ‘Laguerre-Gaussian’ beams, are multiplexed with different carrier frequencies (left). In the Fourier plane, the carrier frequencies manifest as different spatial positions for each beam (right).
